Medieval Timber Frame Building Construction Set 3D Model

A low-poly medieval or Tudor timber framed house building set. It has been set up for GLSL in Blender 3d. My objective was to create a set which would allow simple medieval house construction, but could be easily modified to make variations. All textures are unique to this set and are my creations, except the stone foundation, which comes from CG textures, and is a minor part of the set. There are many elements included, but the main features are: SEPARATE ELEMENTS FOR EASY BUILDING -Beams, UV unwrapped. Use the basic structures I've included, or create anything you want. A bevel modifier has been added, but not applied. -Plaster planes - a variety of damage patterns can be achieved. -Windows, 3 materials for different effects. -Hardware, see screens. Lots included. -A Door. NOT a CG textures door. -A roof with separate "loose" shingle objects. -A stone foundation. All items have reasonable face counts for game use. EASILY MODIFIED MATERIALS, WITH MANY VARIATIONS POSSIBLE. - Plaster material: I used a base plaster texture, then created a set of decals which are taken from photos of real timber framed houses. You can achieve the look of damage tailored to the specific shape of the plaster panel by moving the UV layout around on the damage decal map. The material also features a wattle and daub layer and mask, and finally a unifying grunge map, which is common to all materials to blend them together, and make them feel like part of the same world. -Wood Material: The wood material was created from photographs I took of hand-hewn timbers. It is very high resolution, and is tileable. The material also includes the tileable grunge map, which can be altered to achieve many looks, from fairly new to rotting. -Rusty Iron Material - Very high res, tileable. Hardware uses the rusty iron material, and comes with an AO map which is in a separate texture channel if you need to re-bake AO. -Window Materials: 3 window materials are included - Day, Night and Orange Night, all opaque. These materials include a fake reflection map which gives them the feel of glass as you move around them, a normal map, a light map, which is applied to a spot light which allows it to project the window texture onto objects, and of course the grunge map, which yields clean to filthy windows. -Roof - A very realistic tiliable roof texture with a normal map and of course grunge. -Rope - A very nice, tilable rope texture with a normal map and grunge. Stone Foundation - A basic, X tiling stone foundation with a normal map and grunge. This is the ONLY texture map to come from CG textures. I have included an SSAO script, which is toggled with 1 & 2 (above the Q). 2 is on. It was created by Martinsh from Blender Artists dot org. Please ask for help there, not on TS. It is an extra.
