I .Historic Summary. The Mississippi River is the chief river of the second-largest drainage system on the North American continent, second only to the Hudson Bay drainage system. The stream is entirely within the United States (although its drainage basin reaches into Canada), its source is Lake Itasca in northern Minnesota and it flows generally south for 2,320 miles (3,730 km) to the Mississippi River Delta in the Gulf of Mexico. With its many tributaries, the Mississippi's watershed drains all or parts of 31 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces between the Rocky and Appalachian Mountains. The Mississippi ranks as the fourth-longest and fifteenth-largest river in the world by discharge. The river either borders or passes through the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Native Americans long lived along the Mississippi River and its tributaries. Most were hunter-gatherers, but some, such as the Mound Builders, formed prolific agricultural societies. The arrival of Europeans in the 16th century changed the native way of life as first explorers, then settlers, ventured into the basin in increasing numbers. (from Wikipedia). II .Technical. Mississippi River is high quality and realistic model. This model has materials fully textured, detailed design that allows for close-up renders, it was originally modeled in Autodesk Maya 2016 using Polygons and rendered with Mental Ray. The Mental Rays Mia Material X is used for all objects in the scene. The file called ' render ' is to render like the first image with Maya Mental Ray. For best results add a render occlusion on it. III .Specifications. - High quality polygonal model, scaled for a perfect representation of the original object. - Models resolutions are optimized for polygon efficiency. - Colors can be modified - Model is fully textured with all materials applied. - All textures and materials are included and mapped in every format. - Models are grouped and objects are named to simplify the scene management. - With Maya format, open, drop your models into the scene and start rendering. - No special plugin needed to open scene. - Reduce the resolution textures if you need. - Good for unity 3d game model. IV .File Formats. Maya 2016 ; 3ds Max 2017 ; OBJ (Multi Format) ; FBX (Multi Format). All models have been checked with the proper software.
