Description
A high definition model of an MK 36 SRBOC Chaff and Decoy Launching System.
The level of detail is suitable for the most extreme close-up renderings.
The geometry is clean, built mostly on quads (99%), with no N-gons, no coplanar faces, no coincident or isolated vertices. All parts of the model are 'smoothable' so you can add meshmooth/turbosmooth modifiers wherever you need, without having to further adjust the geometry.
The textures size is 4096x4096.
The scale is set to 'real world' (1unit=1 cm).
The polygon count shown on the right indicates the number of polygons and vertices for the base meshes that make the this model.
For the best close-up views, some meshsmooth modifiers have been added (as rendered in the presentation images). In this case, the polygon count ended up at 202216 polygons and 205881 vertices.
Originally modeled in 3ds Max 2014, the model was exported to obj and fbx formats. The 3ds Max version comes with both standard and V-Ray materials.
A 3ds Max 2011 version is also available with both standard and V-Ray materials.
The model can be converted for free, on request, to any format you may need. Contact support for a free file conversion.
The rendering and lighting settings used to render the presentation images are not included.
