Description
This is a interpretation in 3D of the NAUTILUS 1865 submarine from the comic "The league of the extraordinary gentlemen - Black Dossier" by Alan Moore and Kevin ONeill (designer).
In 1:1 scale (70 meters long, based in Vernes book), the model its a good base for renders, animations or games.
ARCHIVE FORMATS:
The native format is Sketchup 6.4.1, imported in 3dmax 2013, and converted to formats 3ds, FBX, C4D, Dae and Obj. All them tested in 3dmax 2013 with these results:
Formats sketchup, FBX, C4D and 3dmax (2010), are totaly functional.
Formats 3ds, Dae and Obj need an easy readjust for the textures in the material editor, but they are operative too.
Every archive rar contains the model, textures and a txt with especifications about the textures.
The 3dmax archive includes parts animated (propellers, rudders, doors...)
MATERIALS/TEXTURES:
The materials are 3 photo textures jpg adapted in the native model (sketchup) and exported with it.
The materials coordinates neednt be readjusted in other formats.
*Models images (wireframe, solid and textured) from Sketchup; screenshots from Cinema 4D and 3dmax; turntable and final renders (VRay 2.3) are made in 3dmax 2013.
