Description
The North American Aviation T-28 Trojan was a piston-engined trainer aircraft used by the US Air Force and US Navy beginning in the 1950s. Besides its use as a trainer, the T-28 was eventually employed as a Counter-insurgency (COIN) aircraft, primarily during the Vietnam War.
The last U.S. Navy training squadron to fly the T-28 was VT-27, based at NAS Corpus Christi, Texas, flying the last T-28 training flight in early 1984. Many T-28s were subsequently sold to private civil operators, and due to their reasonable operating costs are often found flying as warbirds today.
Modelled in 1:1 real world scale, all parts are conveniently named and separated, textures and specular maps are 2048x2048 pixels and it has the following key-frame animations already in place:
Landing Gear and shock absorbers
Cow Flaps
Airbrake
Canopies
Verts: 18447
Faces: 17209
Original format is 3ds max 8, obj generated by Deep Exploration. You might need to re-apply the textures depending on the software used.
