Description
Detailed and accurate model of Giancarlo Piretti's 1967 Plia foldable and stackable chair.
3ds Max scene includes two poses: folded and unfolded. The pose can be adjusted easily thanks to a link hierarchy by rotating only the chair's three axes, as in real life.
3ds Max scene includes three materials finishes for the seat and backrest: original transparent cellidor plastic; opaque black plastic and opaque orange. All parts were given a vintage treatment thanks to advanced, multi-layered shaders, procedurals and high-resolution textures for an extremely photorealistic look (see detail render).
The chair was modelled to real-world scale (cm): Just merge it into your scene and render.
The OBJ file includes the folded and unfolded poses but neither material nor link hierarchy. All parts are however carefully UV-unwrapped for easy material creation.
