Description
An industrial analog voltmeter.
Gauges, arrow and letterings are implemented entirely procedurally in material Nodes, thus allowing complete control through corresponding numerical values as well as reducing objects / polygons count (see the very last picture in product imagery).
Specifications:
Topology: quads only.
Units: metric.
Dimensions: 14 x 14 x 8 cm.
Materials: all procedural PBR, based on Principled shader, thus widely compatible with modern PBR renderers. Separate material Nodes are used for gauge parts for maximal flexibility. Numerical values are used to control positions / sizes & arrow angle. No texture files (raster images) used.
UV maps unwrapped.
HDRi environment map (Blue Grotto, public domain) packed in .blend for more realistic reflections, as well as put into supporting items separately.
All imagery is done via Cycles / Filmic (Base Contrast profile), no post-processing.
