Description
The Vympel R-37 (NATO reporting name: AA-X-13/AA-13 Arrow) is a Russian air-to-air missile with an extremely long range. It has also had the names K/R-37, Izdeliye 610 and R-VD, and the NATO codename "Andi". It was designed to shoot down AWACS and other C4ISTAR aircraft whilst keeping the launch platform out of range of any fighters that might be protecting the target.
The model is done in a scale of 1:1. All model dimensions are in accordance with those provided in the manufacturer's site.
All objects are checked with STL Check and free from geometry flaws, open edges, double faces, etc.
Modelled and rendered in 3ds Max 9.
No 3rd party plugins were used.
Standard materials used.
5 maps with size from 100x100 to 1194x4188 are used to paint model.
All model got pivot points positioned properly and could be easily animated.
