Description

North American RA5C Vigilanti, a mach-2 carrier based reconnaissance jet, was used in late 50s to early 70s by the US Navy for photo and electronic intelligence in the Vietnam conflict. The canoe mounted on the underbelly of the fuselage contained forward, vertical, and side oblique cameras, infrared radar, and electronic sensors pack to gather intelligence on an area of Vietnam, The aircraft would fly in on afterburners at 5000 feet to take images of the ground area. Print at any scale to build your carrier air wing or as a static model to add greater detail to your ship models.
