Photorealistic 3d model of Satellite Dish.
There are 3 dish sizes, and 2 types, can be placed on floor, or on wall.
Dish has textures with label, this can be optionally turned on/off in materials.
*** MODEL ***
Originally modeled in 3ds max 2012.
The model has real world scale.
The max file includes 6 antennas: 2 types (to be places on floor, and to be placed on wall), and each type has 3 dish sizes (diameters 80 cm, 100 cm, 120 cm) please refer to presentation images.
Works well with subdivions.
All objects are grouped in different groups that allow to manipulate the antenna easily, groups have pivot points positioned properly so the dish can be rotated in same manner as in reality.
Unit systems - centimeters.
The model has Mesh Smooth modifier applied, not collapsed.
Number of polygons / vertices / triangles:
- 0 subdivisions: 50038 polygons/ 50100 vertices / 99820 triangles.
- 1 subdivisions: 199896 polygons / 200233 vertices / 399792 triangles.
*** UV ***
The model is UV Unwrapped, please refer to presentation images.
All objects can be merged in a single mesh, UVs will not change.
*** MATERIALS ***
The model has vray materials applied.
There are 3 materials, each has its own diffuse color (red, white, grey). The selected material should be firstly applied on the antenna model before to merge it in a new scene.
Some textures are used for the text label on dish, can be turned off in diffuse slot if label is not needed. Please refer to presentation images.
Some materials use color correction free plugin, usually for textures.
Vray materials in max file 2015 has microfacet GTR (GGX) set in BRDF.
Vray materials in max file 2012 has ward set in BRDF.
PSD file is included, in case a new label for dish is needed to be made.

The scene is clean, containing only the antenna models.
No lighting or other objects are included.
The scene has default render setting set.
