Science Fiction Construction Kit 3D Model

Very complex and detailed 3d model collection / kit for creating science fiction scenes, spaceship hulls or textures for low-poly sci-fi objects. The kit contains more than 20 unique small sub-blocks with dozens of detailed and textured parts. These small blocks can be "docked" together to create big structures. Also included are two pre-composed big blocks (based on the sub-blocks). View the Quicktime Movie and the big renderings available on this page for more details. The sub-blocks have moderate polygon counts so even very big scenes can be handled on modern workstations. The example movie was made on a Windows XP PC with 1GB RAM and CINEMA 4D using instance copies of the big blocks. The stated vertices/polygons values on this page are based on the two big blocks. Native format of the files is CINEMA 4D (contains more complex setup for lights, glow effects etc.). All objects are UVW textured using only one big texture map.
