Description
//Please Read Before Purchasing//
A high-poly model of the Soyuz Orbiter. This spacecraft was first used by Roscosmos (Russian Space Agency) in 2002 and is still in use today.
Please note that this is an original model built from blueprints and reference photos (i.e. it's not a "knock off" of the low-poly NASA models). For those who are familiar with the film "Gravity", please note that the real Soyuz does not have a door on the side (although the ground simulator apparently did). In keeping with realism, there is no door on this model.
Three texture images are included with this model:
- A 2048 x 2048 decal of the flags / markings on the bottom.
- A 1024 x 512 decal of the silver plaque on the top.
- A 2048 x 512 decal for the solar panel grid (repeated element)
The applicable areas of the model are UV unwrapped and mapped to those textures. However, the rest of the model is NOT unwrapped.
NOTE: The black canvas material was created with a combination of modeling and procedural (Brick/Cloud style) textures. These procedural textures are included in the original (Blender) version of the model, but may require adjustment in the exported formats. Please review the preview images to see what is physically modeled and what relies on procedural textures.
Don't hesitate to ask if there are any questions.
