Space Shuttle Atlantis Transport LP 1-2 3D Model

The Basic Low Poly transport version of this 3d model in this product of the Space Shuttle is built very near to scale and fully textured. It includes the exterior of the space craft, boat tail fairing and exterior model of the Boeing 747-100 transport aircraft. The 747-100 aircraft is also near to scale and includes animateable surfaces like flaps, ailerons, rudder and elevators, and animateable landing gear and landing gear doors. Textures are complete for both the spacecraft and the aircraft and the model is provided in 10 different formats. The shuttle program started in the late 1950s with design and development experiments. The program with the Space Shuttle orbiter lasted from the 1980s until the 2000s. It was a safe system with only two exceptions including the destruction of the vehicles and fatalities of the crews. The Space Shuttle program provided a reusable system for space flight that was historic in its implications, capabilities, and duration.
