Description
3D model of the extremophile Tardigrade (Macrobiotus sapiens), the first animal to survive exposure in space.
Tardigrades, also known as water bears or moss piglets, are extremely tough creatures about 0.5mm in size that can survive temperatures near absolute zero, boiling water, dehydration, radioactivity and even the vacuum of space.
Model is scaled up about 3000 times. Actual creature is about 0.5mm in size.
Low polygon count and clean edge loop topology facilitates rigging and animation.
Designed for subdivision rendering.
Procedural shader material included for LightWave format only.
