Description
*NOTE: Be sure to check out our larger, Massive Airbase with UAVs and UAV airstrip sets sold separately on Turbosquid. Each of those sets contains ground control station elements.
This is a UAV mobile ground control station with pilot and internal consoles, and an outside ground control station setup (under pop-up tent canopy). Control joystick and throttle sticks are designed to move. Individual switches, buttons, and LCD displays are modeled on the control panels. Hard-mount tracking antenna on top of mobile unit is designed with fully articulating joints. Ground tripod tracking antennas also have fully articulating heads to follow aircraft, and tripod legs fold up/collapse. Human pilot models are overlap-ball-jointed so all limbs can be articulated without the need for rigging.
This set has been designed to maintain detail along with efficient scaling. Everything has been modeled for a balance between polygon efficiency and good 3D detail at close range.
Nearly all objects in the scene are texture mapped with a combination of specific and seamless textures. Both color maps and separate bump maps are used. (3DS, FBX, OBJ exports also use texture maps; DXF does not.) The majority of the maps are 1024x1024 pixels. All have been manually UV mapped and adjusted for good fit with minimized stretching.
Modeled to proper scale in meters using many reference photos and diagrams. For realism, nearly all texture maps have been generated from original photos of surfaces including metal, painted surfaces, human skin, etc. Lights are also included (.max file only).
