History: The Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk (Black Hawk) was first flown in October 1974 as part of the Utility Tactical Transport Aircraft System (UTTAS) program. This program was created to provide a troop transport, command and control, MedEvac, and reconnaissance helicopter to replace the UH-1 Huey. It is the Army's front line utility helicopter. Main utility versions include the original UH-60A, UH-60L, and UH-60M. The model provided with this purchase can be modified to create any of a number of different variations.
