Beschreibung

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Springfield XD started its life in Croatia in 1991 as the HS2000 in 9mm. It saw several improvements over the years and was adopted by the Croatian military and police force. Around the year 2000 it made its way to the US as an imported 9mm handgun, and while sales were limited, it caught the eye of Springfield Armory and they acquired the licensing rights in 2002. The handgun was renamed, some changes were made and what started as a single 9mm model, turned into a successful line of rock solid handguns. The Springfield eXtreme Duty line became an instant success with the public, and was eventually released in, what is arguably the US"s favorite caliber, the 45 ACP. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Modelled in Max 9, main presentation images rendered with vRay 1.5 RC3 - High res model suitable for closeup and still images. - All parts are detached, allowing you to further optimise the model. - Modifier stack intact - All textures used in rendering previews are provided in .ZIP archive, in both .psd and .jpg formats - Light setup is included ONLY in Max scene files for Vray and scanline renderers - model is centered at 0,0,0 grid coord"s - correctly scaled dimensions, units used - cm - objects are named logically and organised on layers - multi/sub-object material setup for both Vray and scanline renderers, all materials are named - vRay - handgrip details are made with displacement map, text with bump maps, GI used - scanline - both handgrip details and text are done with bump maps, does not feature advanced lighting Subdivision based model: -base control mesh has near 30 000 polys (quads), exact number depending on format (native Max format, FBX and OBJ) -subdivided with 2 iterations turbosmooth, model has arround 380 000 - 420 000 polys, again - exact number depending on format Available for download are: - Max 9 file containing scanline shader and light setup - Max 9 file containing vRay shader and light setup - textures.zip file containing textures (only HDR is not provided) - fbx and obj formats for other platforms (Exported as base contol mesh and subD mesh in separate files. They do not include light setup.) **Texture usage for MAX files: - create subfolder named "textures" inside the folder where you located max scene file, and unpack .ZIP archive with textures inside that folder. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Please note - this model is an artistic representation of the real handgun. Although it represents stated weapon, some minor differences and faking exist. Internal firing mechanism is not modeled by references and does not represent real mechanism. Only external form, magazine and barrel were made by photo references. There are some basic shapes in internal area of the gun. Their purpose is purely cosmetic - so you have something modeled inside the gun in case you need some "disassembled" shots. For any questions, don"t hesitate to contact me via TS support.
