Descrizione
Highly detailed interior for a spaceship or spacestation. This is this is the second part of a collection of modular pieces that can be pieced together to make a complete virtual set for a film, or level for a game.
This piece on its own can be tiled infinitely to make a long corridor.
This piece differs from the first in that much of the machinery is covered. This not only allows for a lower poly count and faster render time, but also makes this section look less industrial. Depending on your intended use, this could be a corridor used by passengers, or officers, something away from the engineering section etc.
The slightly claustrophobic look were inspired by the fact that real spacecraft try to cram as much as possible into a small space to save on fuel required to get it into orbit. The ISS has been built in stages with one module attached to the next and certain parts of this design reflect that this spacecraft or spacestation have been built in much the same way.
In this small module are three computer monitors. These monitors have animated textures to increase realism. Please note that none of the meshes are animated, however, the axis points of handles, switches and dials have been set so that they still appear correctly aligned when rotated. Of particular note is the switches on the control panels by the doors. It is possible to change the textures on the status boxes in on the screen to match the position of the switches.
I hope you enjoy this scene. Watch this space for future modules to add to this including corners, junctions, stairs, ladders, cabins, engine room, cargo bay, cockpit and bridge.
