Description: This purchase includes a model of the Laird Turner LTR-14 Meteor aircraft. Color, bump, specular, and reflectivity maps are included. Textures: Detailed textures are provided including diffuse, bump, specular, reflective. Maximum dimension of textures are 4096 pixels. Photoshop template files are available for download with the product so you can modify the layered textures to your liking. History: The Laird Turner Meteor was built by Mattie Laird and Roscoe Turner in 1936 and won the Thompson Trophy races of 1938 and 1939. It is a conventional geared mid-wing aircraft with a radial engine. At the 1937 National Air Races the aircraft placed third after missing a pylon. It won the Thompson Trophy races in the following two years. Only one aircraft was built. It currently sits in the Smithsonian and has only 30 hours flight time on it.
