|| PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ||
These are 5 models of various types of capacitors. A capacitor (originally known as condenser) is a passive two-terminal electrical component used to store energy in an electric field. These models are very high detailed. Suitable for extreme close-ups.
Originally created with CINEMA 4D R9, in 2013 completely updated for Cinema 4D R14.
|| USAGE ||
Originally created for a 3D animation for a company that's specialized in soldering ovens for surface mount components. All 3D components have been approved by the client. This model is suitable for use in broadcast, high-res film close-ups, advertising, design visualization, forensic presentation, etc. These models are accurate representations of real capacitors using a scale of 1unit = 1 milimeter.
|| SPECS ||
This product contains 5 3D files, each containing 3 or more separate objects (48 objects in total) This model contains standard materials and Tiffs for Alpha channels. Renderer used is Physical Render. This product contains 21792 polygons all together and 21678 points.
|| PRESENTATION IMAGES ||
These presentation images have been rendered with Cinema 4D's own Physical Render R14 and Grey Scale Gorilla's HDRI rig. The HDRI which is used to render these images is not included as you might understand. No Photoshop or compositing used. Product is ready to render out-of-the-box in Cinema 4D R14. LIghts and cameras are not included in the file.
|| TEXTURES ||
Only relevant meshes (those with the text) are UV unwrapped. Alpha channels that contain the text are layered 2048x2048 TIFF's so text adjustments are very easy to make.
|| GENERAL ||
Model is built to real-world scale. Units used: millimeters. Models vary from 4mm tot 40mm. Scene objects are organized by layers / groups / selection sets. No third-party plug-ins are needed.
|| ADDITIONAL NOTES ||
File formats other than Cinema 4D don't have textures/materials applied and will not render like the preview images. UVW's are suitable for using the graphics on the components. UV's are properly made but the textures need fine-tuning due to the export to other formats such as OBJ.
