If you download this, select all the verts on the model, merge by distance 0.0001, then delete loose. You can do this in blender using the clean up options. There are about 110,000 verts that can be deleted without any loss of fidelity.

i lied, you can remove over 140,000 verts and still have the same exact fidelity

im new to 3-d printing. Im trying to figure out how this works as I'd love to use this for our homeschool class in anatomy. Do I just download it onto the SD and plug it into my machine to print or do I need to go into cura to change settings of any kind, and if so, how do I know how to set them? Any help would greatly be appreciated

Use Mixamo, if you have and Adobe account you already have access. I know how to rig and animate (C4D/Maya) but i prefer to use Mixamo bc it saves so much time.

when i brought the OBJ into Maya I could not figure out the texture assignment. There are NO LESS than 400 textures. Some called "Material" some called Medieval_bones", some called "Mater", some called "Medie" all with upwards of 100 different numbers after the main name....and yet, in the hypergraph the assigned texture to any given shader has an entirely different naming convention such as "Material52_157.jpg". A friggin mess

man the geometry is actually pretty good, even the digits and carpae are quite elaborated yet still polgon-count-wise, great work in comparison to other free models, but I have the problem with technical quality of the mesh though - after importing into 3ds max the mesh seems to be really messed, and even when i load the original downloaded mesh into a mesh fixing program, it turns out that there are really many multiple faces, non-manifold faces, odd vertices, zero-area faces etc.. Really pitty since tha model itself is definitely the best out there.. Maybe you might consider re-exporting it? Its almost imposible to fix the mesh using standard mesh-fixing tools. Anyway, thanks for your work, cheers!
