This is a mid-poly Human Head Lateral Cross Section, its anatomically correct. It was originally made in 3ds Max 9 using mostly quads. This model is suitable for use in broadcast, high-res film close-ups, advertising, scientific visualization, and forensic presentation, and video games. This model is an accurate representation of an Kudo using a scale of 1unit = 1 inch. Built to real world scale, the head slice is about 3 inches long. It contains Normal, Diffuse, Specular, Bump, Displacement, Epidermal, Dermal and Reflection texture maps each at a resolution of 2048 x 2048. It utilizes sub-surface scattering shaders in Mental Ray. Three shader options are available, A standard diffuse Shader for quick rendering, a SSS Skin Fast Shader for an organic look, and finally a SSS Skin Fast Shader + Displacement shader for maximum detail.
