This TV show was created and produced by Irwin Allen, the TV show ran for three seasons, with 83 episodes airing between 1965 and 1968. The Robot is a Class M-3, Model B9, General Utility Environmental Control Robot. In the show he was referred to as "the robot" or called by the generic name, "Robot". He was brought to life by the combination of actor Bob May (inside the robot) and voice actor Richard Tufeld. B9 Robot was designed by Robert Kinoshita.
