This is a model of "B9 Robot". Originally created with 3ds Max 2010. B9 Robot is an iconic character from TV Series Lost in Space. This TV show was created and produced by Irwin Allen, the TV show ran for three seasons, with 83 episodes airing between 1965 and 1968.
The Robot is a Class M-3, Model B9, General Utility Environmental Control Robot. In the show he was referred to as "the robot" or called by the generic name, "Robot". He was brought to life by the combination of actor Bob May (inside the robot) and voice actor Richard Tufeld. B9 Robot was designed by Robert Kinoshita.
Robert Kinoshita (February 24, 1914 December 9, 2014) was an artist, art director, and set and production designer who worked in the American film and television industries from the 1950s through the early 1980s.
