Overview
Mars as a finished planet sphere with the surface maps already applied, delivered in four formats so it drops straight into most pipelines. Global coverage of the real albedo pattern: the canyon system, the volcanic plateau, the cratered southern highlands and both polar caps.
Formats Included
Cinema 4D R16 (native, V-Ray for C4D 1.9), FBX, OBJ and 3DS. The FBX and OBJ versions carry the UV layout, so the maps reconnect in Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Unreal and Unity without reprojecting anything.
Geometry
Polygonal sphere, 90,000 polygons. Spherical equirectangular UV mapping, the standard layout for planets.
Textures
32K surface colour map in equirectangular projection, plus bump, normal and specular maps and a lighter 16K colour map. All are ordinary image files, which makes them renderer independent - they behave the same in any package that can load a texture.
NOT INCLUDED
Phobos, Deimos and any other planet or moon. Atmosphere haze, dust storms and cloud layers. Displacement and roughness maps. Star field, glow and colour grading used in the preview images. HDRI environment and lighting rigs. Rovers, landers and ground level terrain.
