|| DESCRIPTION || This is a 3D model of sci-fi remotely operated turret system. Model created by original concept based on a variety of modern military technologies - Originally created with 3ds Max 2012 || USAGE || - This model was designed for use as a real-time asset in a videogame and is not intended for subdivision. it is also suitable for use in a render visualizations || SPECS || - This model contains 3 separate objects: Platform, Operator, Guns - This model contain 3666 quads, 10 tris || GENERAL || - Model is built to real-world scale - Units used: Meters - Overall height - 4.3 m, overall width - 5 m, overall length - 8.8 m - Object Operator can be easily rotated on 360 degrees. Rotational mechanism consists of two parts: lower part (which is part of the object Platform) and top part (which is part of the object Operator) - Object Guns consists of one main gun (180 mm double barrel gun) and two support guns (27 mm 6-barell gun). All guns have rotational mechanisms allowing them to be rotated upward and downward. Main gun can be rotated 55 degrees upward and 10 degrees downward. Support guns can be rotated 20 degrees upward and 25 degrees downward - Scene objects are organized by layers and groups - All objects named properly - No third-party renderer or plug-ins needed || PRESENTATION IMAGES || - All preview images are rendered in 3ds Max with mental ray renderer - No Photoshop or compositing used, Product is ready to render out-of-the-box - Lighting setup consists of Daylight system, mr Physical map in Environment map slot (this map was used both for reflections and visible backgound) and mr Photographic Exposure settings - Arch & Design materials are used for entire scene - Lighting setup, materials and ground (simple plane) are included in product file || TEXTURES || - All three objects carefully UV unwrapped - Each set of textures consists of 4 maps: diffuse map, specular map, glossiness map, normal map - There are 12 textures in all - Textures for object Platform - 4096x4096 TGA files - Textures for object Operator - 4096x4096 TGA files - Textures for object Guns - 2048x2048 TGA files - Product include PSD files which easily allows to convert textures in any convenient format or modify any paint layer - Layers in PSD files are grouped by each type of texture (diffuse, specular, glossiness) and properly named - All textures are handmaided || ADDITIONAL NOTES || - Model was tested in three game engines: Unity 4, Unreal 3 (UDK), CryEngine 3 - Model was imported into engines without any errors in geometry or textures - Screenshots from each game engine included
