A-10A Thunderbolt - Desert Storm 3D Model

The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American single-seat, twin-engine, straight-wing jet aircraft developed in the early 1970s. The A-10 was designed to provide close air support for ground forces by attacking tanks and other armored vehicles. The A-10 was used in combat for the first time during the Gulf War in 1991, destroying more than 900 Iraqi tanks, 2,000 other military vehicles and 1,200 artillery pieces, making it by far the most effective aircraft of the war. The model is in the colors of 74th TFS Flying Tigers and it's complete with the typical loadout for strike missions employed during Operation Desert Storm: AN/ALQ-119 jamming pod, AGM-65 Maverick, MK-82 bombs and AIM-9 for self defense.
