Description
The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American single-seat, twin-engine, straight-wing jet aircraft developed in the early 1970s. The A-10 was designed to provide close air support for ground forces by attacking tanks and other armored vehicles.
The A-10s were deployed in the Balkans to support search and rescue missions, but the Warthogs began to receive more ground attack missions as the days passed and they remained until combat ended in late June 1999.
The model is in the colors of 81th TFS and it's complete with the typical loadout for strike missions, employed operating from Aviano AB over the Balkans, during NATO Operation Allied Force: AN/ALQ-131 jamming pod, AGM-65 Maverick, MK-82 bombs, LAU-68 rocket pods and AIM-9 for self defense.
Modelled in 1:1 real world scale, all parts are conveniently named and separated, textures and specular maps are 4096x4096 pixels and it has the following key-frame animations already in place:
Landing gear
Airbrakes
Refueling door
Canopy
Ladder
Original format is 3ds max 9, obj generated by Deep Exploration. You might need to re-apply the textures depending on the software used.
