Description

Very high poly fibremesh hair. Made to fit Daz Michael 4 figure but can be scaled to fit other figures fairly easily. I recommend using a wig cap with transparency on the edges, or editing the head texture to hide the scalp. As you can see in the previews I mostly try to focus on getting a nice transition on the ends of the hairs instead of focusing on the roots. I also mostly focus on the bang/fringe area more, which is why the back is more roughly made. I make these to use in my CG portraits, most of which I use a 3/4 view in so I pay more attention to getting the silhouette from that view the way I like than a whole head. For that reason I wouldn't recommend my fibremesh hair for any kind of animation. There are two material sections, the main hair and then there are highlights in the fringe. They are just a bit lighter than the rest of the hair in the main previews. In most of the renders I have a solidifier modifier on in blender, but I've also supplied a file without the solidifier modifier (the final preview is example). You can take that into your modelling program and apply your program's equivalent of a solidifying modifyer to change the thickness of the strands if you'd like, in the previews I have it set to a thickness of 0.00005 in Blender.
