Description: ISU-152 was a Soviet multirole fully enclosed and armored assault gun or armored self-propelled gun, also capable of serving as a heavy tank destroyer developed and used during World War II, with a subsequent use, mainly in the Soviet military, until the 1970s. It gained a nickname of Beast killer for its ability to knock out the heaviest German tanks and tank destroyers, many of which were named after animals, such as Panther, Elefant, Tiger, and Nashorn.The beginnings of the ISU-152 came on January 24, 1943, when the first prototype of the SU-152 was unveiled.
