Roman gladius short sword of the Pompeii type. This is the most common sword used in the Roman world. It is 100% realistic in terms of size, shape, proportion and texture.
65cm Long from pommel to tip.
Forget all the productions that try to put a standard roman gladius up to 81cm or more, this would have been exceptionally long for a gladius and especially not the Pompeii gladius which was the most common one you were likely to find back in roman times and, as time went on the gladius got shorter and shorter as the legionaries relied more on the weapons brutish stabbing power, and less on its cut.
-All textures are HD; 2048 Resolution.
-Consistent Polygonal Topology. NO NURBS! NO WEIRD MODIFIERS! Just very clean and easy to edit topology.
- Material consists of Diffuse, Specular and Normal Textures.
- Modelled using accurate reference pictures, archaeological data, and other documentation so you can rely on this products authenticity.
