Saturn V S-IVB Stage Inside Out 3D Model

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This is a High Definition accurate scale model of the Saturn V S-IVB third stage. As an enhancement to my other Saturn Apollo models, it now includes all the inner LOX and LH2 tank details as well as pressurisation equipment, pipes and feedlines. Please download and read the free "Saturn Apollo Reference Guide" - PDF for more information about this model (downloadable from the full Saturn Apollo stack model). These inner upgrade details were modeled with precision using 1:48 scale blueprints, numerous PDF documents and extensive photographic and video research. Separate layers enable different combinations of inner and outer details to be rendered. NB: By default the outer layers of this model fully cover the inner details and any customised cuttaway views (other than the default model included used in the Signature Image) will require manually cutting away polygons. This is to allow the model to be rendered as 'flight ready' in its exterior mode or in a reference context showing its inner workings. The model includes the Instrument Unit (IU) that sits above the stage's forward skirt. Separate parts enable realistic gimballing of the J2 engine and jettison of the Ullage rockets. IU access doors and removable hatches on the lower thrust cone are also included. 63 high resolution texture and bump maps offer down to the rivet detail. These include the inner foam insulation tiles used on the stage tanks.
