Fox, the game engine doesn't render things that shouldn't be seen, or your computer would explode. Most of the extreme graphics you see today are illusions, if they were all legit, your computer would take a shit and die. Most "realtime" lighting is pre-rendered, they bake the shadows onto the model itself, so it never has to calculate lighting.

Looks like you know nothing about game dev
Thats not "lazy", thats reducing PC's memory used, if there was the full body the PC would have to render the whole body and the game would lag more and you wont be able to see it anyway, so there is no point in making the whole body
